2개의 quartz waveplates를 결합한 Lyot Depolarizers는 passive optical components로서 편광 또는 부분 편광된 빛을 비편광 빛으로 변환합니다. waveplates 2장의 두께 비율은 2:1입니다. 광학 축이 45° 분리되도록 배치된 이 제품은 다양한 수준으로 타원 및 선형 편광된 빛을 형성하여 입력 beam의 편광을 제거합니다.

참고: Lyot Depolarizers는 단색광에는 적합하지 않습니다.

Lyot Depolarizers는 200 - 2300nm 사이의 polychromatic light용으로 디자인되어 있습니다. 각 Lyot Depolarizer는 50nm의 최소 파장 대역을 특징으로 하며 약 85%의 depolarization을 나타냅니다. 완전한 depolarization을 위해서는 100nm를 초과하는 대역이 필요합니다.
