Coherent® High Power Water-Cooled Thermopile Sensors는 최대 5kW의 고출력 레이저까지 견딜 수 있도록 설계되었습니다. 수냉(water-cooling) 메커니즘은 최소 권장 유수율(water flowrate)과 사용될 때 센서의 손상을 방지하기 위해 입력 레이저의 열이 센서로 전달되는 것을 감소시켜줍니다. 따라서 이러한 센서는 표준 thermopile sensor로 취급할 수 있는 파워를 초과하는 100W 이상의 산업용 CO2 및 Nd:YAG 레이저와 사용하기 적합합니다. Coherent® High Power Water-Cooled Thermopile Sensors는 190 - 11,000nm의 광대역 스펙트럼 범위를 커버함에 따라 대다수의 레이저 용도에서 사용할 수 있습니다. 이 thermopile sensor는 1W의 파워 분해능을 가지고 있어 고출력 레이저를 매우 정확하게 측정할 수 있습니다.
