HOLO/OR Diffractive Beam Samplers는 고출력 레이저를 모니터링하는 데 사용되는 회절성 광학 요소(DOE: diffractive optical elements)입니다. 입력 레이저 빔이 제로 차수로 빔 샘플러를 통과할 때 에너지가 낮은 두 개의 고차수 빔이 -1과 +1 차수로 생성됩니다. 이와 같은 고차수 빔은 디텍터로 향하게 되면서 레이저 빔의 프로파일과 파워 레벨을 모니터링할 수 있습니다. HOLO/OR Diffractive Beam Samplers는 CO2 레이저와 함께 사용할 수 있도록 아연셀렌화물(ZnSe) 기판과 함께 이용이 가능합니다.

참고: 회절성 광학 요소는 설계 파장 외 다른 파장에서는 사용할 수 없습니다. 유분이나 다른 물질로 인하여 오염이 될 경우, 회절성 광학 요소의 성능이 저하됩니다. 따라서 이와 같은 광학 부품을 취급할 때는 반드시 장갑이나 핑거 코트 를 사용할 것을 권장합니다.

에드몬드 옵틱스는 다음과 같이 HOLO/OR에서 제작하는 매우 다양한 종류의 회절성 광학 부품을 취급합니다.

  • Diffractive Diffusers: 입력 레이저빔을 균일한 분포의 뚜렷한 형태로 변환하는 데 사용됨
  • Diffractive Beamsplitters:입력빔을 1D array 또는 2D matrix 출력으로 분할하는데 사용됨
  • Diffractive Beam Shapers: 가우시안 형태에 가까운 레이저 빔을 플랫탑의 강도 분포가 균일한 형태로 변환하는 데 사용됨
  • Diffractive Beam Samplers: 고출력 레이저를 모닝터링하는 데 사용할 수 있는 2개의 고차수 빔을 생성하면서 입력 레이저 빔을 투과하는 데 사용됨
