Schmidt Prism은 45°의 ray deviation으로 오른쪽으로 회전된 이미지를 만듭니다. 기능상 TECHSPEC® Amici Roof Prisms과 비슷하지만 45° 편향은 Schmidt Prism을 path bend가 필요한 이미징 시스템 및 eyepiece 어셈블리에 특히 유용하게 만들어 줍니다. 알루미늄 도금된 roof surface는 전체 효율을 높이는 반면 5 arcsecond roof angle 허용오차는 프리즘의 resolution을 증가시킵니다. TECHSPEC® Schmidt Prism을 TECHSPEC® Half-Penta Prisms과 결합하면 Pechan Prism이 만들어집니다.
