Traditional Coated Bandpass Interference Filters는 좁은 범위의 파장을 선별적으로 투과시키면서 다른 파장은 모두 차단하는 데 사용되며 biomedical 및 quantitative chemical 용도에 사용하기에 아주 적합합니다.

Bandpass interference filters는 clinical chemistry, environmental testing, colorimetry, elemental 및 laser line separation, flame photometry, fluorescence, immunoassays를 포함한 다양한 용도의 계기에 광범위하게 사용되고 있습니다. 아울러, bandpass interference filter는 아크 또는 가스 방전등의 불연속적 스펙트럼선을 선택하고 Ar, Kr, Nd:YAG 및 기타 레이저의 특정 스펙트럼선을 분리하기 위해 사용됩니다. 이 제품들은 laser diode modulesLED와 함께 사용되기도 합니다.

Traditional Coated Filters

Traditional coated filters는 3개 섹션으로 제작됩니다. 한 개 섹션에서는 중심 파장(CWL), 대역폭(FWHM), 그리고 투과 곡선 형태를 결정하고 나머지 2개 섹션은 필터의 차단 범위를 제어합니다. Traditional Coated Bandpass Interference Filters의 대역통과필터 섹션은 유리 기판에 부분 반사하는 유전체 박막을 반복적으로 진공 증착시켜 제작합니다. 상쇄 간섭으로 인한 파장 차단은 중심 파장의 15% 이내로 제한되므로 대역 밖에서의 통과를 줄이기 위해 유리 또는 금속 차단 필터를 추가해야 합니다. 은 박막 등의 금속 차단 필터는 필터 투과 대역 밖의 빛을 반사 및 흡수하고 X선부터 long-wave infrared (LWIR)까지에 이르는 높은 투과 대역의 빛을 차단합니다. metallic blockers의 차단 능력은 UV 또는 long wavelength radiation을 흡수하는 color transmitting glass 및 맞춤형 염료를 추가해 강화합니다. 박막 필름 증착이 완료된 후 3개 섹션을 구분, 적층, 절단해 장착합니다.
