Empty Filter Mounts는 마운트되지 않은 필터나 기타 광학 부품을 대부분의 이미징 렌즈 전면에 있는 thread에 장착하기 위하여 고안되었습니다. 내구성을 극대화하기 위해 이 마운트는 전체적으로 아노다이징 마감 처리가 된 알루미늄으로 제작됩니다. Empty filter mounts는 다양한 직경과 두께를 수용하면서도 여러 개의 필터를 결합해 맞춤형 광밀도(OD)를 생성할 수 있도록 합니다. 이와 같은 마운트를 사용하면 에드몬드 옵틱스의 광학 필터 전 제품을 어느 이미징 시스템에도 손쉽게 결합할 수 있습니다.
